The DSP Framework is a set of Makefile based classes integrated into the RidgeRun SDK simplifying the process of creating, compiling, and deploying DM8168 and DM8148 DSP algroithms. DSP Framework supports ARM / DSP interaction, simplifying the offload of ARM intensive audio / video algorithms to the DSP. The RidgeRun GStreamer DSP wrapper plugin allows your DSP audio or video processing algorithm to
RidgeRun is proud to announce the Open Source firmware deployment utility OpenFD. Designed for u-boot and embedded Linux based devices, OpenFD simplifies deploying the key software components - pre-bootloader, u-boot bootloader, u-boot environment variables, Linux kernel, Linux kernel command line, and the target file system from the host computer used to create those components to the target
RidgeRun has many long-term customer engagements. We have developed multiple products with many of our customers. Read this quick article on why RidgeRun Loves GStreamer and why we believe this is the best choice for embedded Linux applications that record, stream or display video / audio.
RidgeRun’s upcoming SDK release supports recording two 1080P streams at 30 frames per second. A combination of a tuned Ext4 filesystem and a tuned kernel’s Virtual Memory subsystem, allows a system to handle the huge amount of input data resulting from capturing two 1080P streams and writing them to a high-speed SD card.
RidgeRun has lowered prices on select SDK's for 2014 and eliminated services bundling.
